Document Agreement to Terms

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Critterlet, a study application that helps you learn with adorable virtual companions. By downloading, installing, or using our app, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Mobile License to Use

We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to download and use Critterlet on your personal devices for your own study and educational purposes.

You may not:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code

• Use the app for any commercial purposes without our permission

• Share your account credentials with others

• Use the app to violate any laws or harm others

User Your Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Keeping your account credentials secure and confidential

• All activity that occurs under your account

• Notifying us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use

• Providing accurate information when creating your account

Edit Your Study Content

You retain all rights to the study content you create in Critterlet, including flashcards, notes, to-do items, and other educational materials. We only process this content to provide our services to you.

You grant us permission to store, sync, and backup your content across your devices so you can access it anywhere you study.

Diamond Premium Features & Virtual Items

Premium Subscriptions: Some features may require a premium subscription. Subscription fees are charged in advance and are non-refundable except as required by law.

Paw Points & Virtual Items: Paw Points are virtual currency earned through studying. Virtual items like critter accessories and backgrounds have no cash value and cannot be transferred or refunded.

Purchases: All purchases are final unless required by applicable law. If you experience issues with a purchase, contact us for assistance.

Warning App Availability & Changes

We strive to keep Critterlet available 24/7, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We may need to take the app offline for maintenance, updates, or other reasons.

We may update, modify, or discontinue features to improve your experience. We'll do our best to notify you of significant changes in advance.

Shield Limitation of Liability

Critterlet is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. While we work hard to provide a great study experience, we cannot guarantee that the app will always work perfectly or meet all your expectations.

We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including lost study time or data.

Block Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use Critterlet to:

• Harass, abuse, or harm other users

• Violate any laws or regulations

• Attempt to hack, disrupt, or damage our services

• Create fake accounts or impersonate others

• Upload malicious content or spam

Stop Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in harmful behavior. You may also delete your account at any time through the app settings or by contacting us.

Upon termination, your access to premium features will end, but you can export your study data before closing your account.

Edit Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services or applicable law. When we make changes, we'll post the updated Terms here and notify you through the app.

Continued use of Critterlet after changes means you accept the new Terms.

Law Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Canada. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Canada, unless otherwise required by your local laws.
